HARMONISING AND ACTIVATING YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Your surroundings have an influence on you. The air you breathe, the sounds you hear, and the light you see. The frequencies you perceive, both consciously and unconsciously. They emanate from appliances and matter around you. One of the most significant sources being the buildings you live and work in, and the Earth beneath them.

For example, have you ever noticed that you have a favourite spot in your house, or that there are places where you, your housemates, or pets avoid sitting? Or have you ever entered a building and immediately felt at home, or, on the contrary, felt uneasy and drained after a while? These feelings may be influenced by natural and man-made phenomena stored in the Earth’s memory, such as events from the past or underground features like water, tunnels, caves, and former roads. Earth grids, such as Hartmann, Benker, and Curry lines, also play a role.

A harmonious and vitalised environment

Chinese Geomancy is an ancient philosophical system that focuses on the harmonious arrangement of these energies. 'Geo' refers to Earth, 'Mancy' to science or definition. This art has been passed on from Master to student for thousands of years. Today, it is considered a component of the growing awareness of spiritual sciences and is referred to as land vitalisation and space clearing.

Geomancy is a practice that enables you to enhance the positive influence of the Earth and the buildings you work and live in, and therefore on your life. By optimising these phenomena, you can create a harmonious and vitalised environment that supports you and your family or teams on e.g. well-being, prosperity, or performance.

Are you able to listen to your body for an answer?

The nature of Geomancy is difficult to describe. It's like reciting the Heart Sutra, where, after some time, you begin to sense that something is happening, but it's impossible to put that into words. When you try to describe your understanding, you realise that you've already lost it. As the Sutra says, it's about wisdom beyond wisdom. The same is true when practicing Chi Kung. After some time, you begin to feel something, but if someone had told you about it beforehand, your mind might have dismissed it as ‘not possible’. Alternatively, your mind might create fanciful stories about your Chi Kung practice. In both cases, only your body knows the truth. The same applies to a Geomancy project.

As the HEART Sutra says, it’s about wisdom beyond wisdom…

What can you expect of a Geomancy Master

In the words of Grandmaster Lim, my teacher: “a Tao Geomancy Master analyses, identifies and classifies the energies of an object, in order to then lovingly heal it and restore its natural, harmonic original state.

We utilise both ancient geomantic symbols and objects with strong positive energies, as well as contemporary techniques for developing self-awareness, personal empowerment and special abilities for Earth healing.

The work of a project

We possess the ability to detect over 300 distinct energy frequencies that can impact humans. These energies can be found within, on, and above the Earth, as well as attached to it.

A map of these phenomena is made based on the floor plan of the building and the Earth below.

Using this map, the Geomancy Master conducts clearing, vitalising, and activation activities on the site. On average, a Geomancy project takes several days to finish, including both the off-site preparation and the on-site work.

Infinitely subtle

The work of a Geomancy Master is infinitely subtle, much like the Dharma in the Zen tradition. To operate at such a refined level, a Geomancy Master must adhere to a specific lifestyle. It is a lifelong commitment, with work being done daily. Much of the work for a Geomancy project is done invisibly, not even related to a specific client.

An essential aspect of a Geomancy project is identifying key tasks that the client must undertake themselves. These may include clearing clutter and removing things that no longer have a purpose. Also included is advice about implementing Feng Shui remedies, such as building reconstruction suggestions and rearranging the space. This advice on remedies is part of the Geomancy project.

Additionally, the client may also need to engage in personal development work.

Investing in a Geomancy project can be an excellent way to embark on a new beginning. Since the energies of the Earth and the building where you live or work have a significant impact on you, it's beneficial to have their positive support.

I believe that a healthy Earth and a healthy building on it supports a happy family. This also is true for an organisation, where it will support its people: healthy people make healthy choices, for themselves, the organisation, their clients and the society as a whole. “As above so below”. Or in other words, it sets off a ripple effect resulting in a growing sense of wellbeing.

Geomancy for companies

The current urge is that companies try to support satisfaction in their workforce by implementing practices such as flexible ways of working, work/life balance support, business process redesign, etc.

I believe we have to go beyond that. We need to balance the very basics, the Earth and the building where the organisation is based, including connecting branches or subsidiaries.
